The diet is designed with highly-digestible, novel protein with carefully selected omega fatty acids. Borage seed oil provides GLA, an anti-inflammatory fatty acid shown to reduce the signs of allergic skin disease. Rutabaga and sweet potato provide easily digestible carbohydrates and are not known to trigger food allergic-reactions in most patients. Elevated nutrient and other fatty acid fortification helps to maintain the epidermal barrier.

The serving portions are based on feeding an active adult dog once daily. These numbers should be used only as a guide, as every dog has their own unique metabolism and activity level. We recommend using a digital scale for increased accuracy, but you can also use the measurement provided in cups (~8 oz cup = 8 oz in weight). Always make sure to monitor your dog’s weight and adjust serving size as needed.
